SmartMune Immune-Boosting Supplements

Generally, I try not to say, “Oh, (insert terrible thing here) never happens to me!” I’ve made that mistake many a time, only to have said terrible thing happen like clockwork mere days later. (See examples 1 – 7354, including: catching the flu, breaking a bone, losing my passport, being stood up, and so on).

So, it is with some trepidation that I write this post. Don’t punish me, fate!

I’ve been taking an immune-boosting supplement for the past couple of months called SmartMune. During this time, I’ve been burning the candle at both ends, under a lot of stress, and traveling like I’m on the run from the law. (Side note: a boyfriend once asked me, in all seriousness, whether I was in the CIA. This inane question absolutely delighted me.) Simultaneously…perhaps not-so-coincidentally…during this time, I also have NOT gotten sick.

I’m just saying.

SmartMune features something called Wellmune WGP, which is a nutritional supplement derived from yeast which apparently triggers your body’s immune system. (Sciency, science, here.) You pop one in the morning on an empty stomach, et voila.

I’m not implying that I’m never going to get sick again–let’s be real–but I figure, every little bit helps!
